Extremadura by besides the obvious

This page collects all our Travel Stories from Extremadura. Extremadura is an autonomous community of Spain. Its capital city is Mérida, and its largest city is Badajoz. Located in the central-western part of the Iberian Peninsula. The autonomous community has the two largest provinces in Spain: Cáceres and Badajoz. Extremadura has a border with Portugal to the west. And by the autonomous communities of Castile and León (north), Castilla–La Mancha (east), and Andalusia (south). It is an important area for wildlife, particularly with the major reserve at Monfragüe, which was designated a National Park in 2007, and the International Tagus River Natural Park (Parque Natural Tajo Internacional).

As you might know our mission is to share something relevant, something authentic, something real, something cool, something interesting, something personal & something different, via our travel stories & images. We are focusing on ideas from local sources. Giving tips that are usually unknown to travelers and foreigners. Guides to secret places that only the guy from the given neighborhood could know about. To the hidden picturesque view, recommending everything besides the obvious. The local real feel. The adventure of discovering the unknown. The authenticity, a culinary guide to the meals that locals are really cooking and eating at home, and much more. Hope you will read our Travel Stories from Extremadura, feel inspired, and enjoy the journey, as much as we do!
