This is the largest of all the Spanish islands. Mallorca is one of the most important tourist destinations in Europe. Visitors from all countries choose each year for a trip to Mallorca to spend their holidays. After the Romans, it was under Muslim rule until the year 1229 when it was recovered by Jaime I for the Christians, after which it was established as a kingdom.

Recently, tourism and construction have been the engines of the economy. Palma de Mallorca is a real capital with all the services for a nice stay. Mallorcan gastronomy, typically Mediterranean, is really delicious.
